Biochemistry

In this branch of the Clinical Analysis they include determinations like Glucose, Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Uric acid, Transaminases, etc. In our laboratory of Biochemistry we perform from the most common analytical determinations to more specific determinations all aimed at the diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of diseases from blood samples, urine and biological fluids collected from patients.

These analyzes are carried out using techniques of high quality and precision achieving adequate response times.

In general these parameters inform about the state and function of the different systems and organs of the body, the results are compared with reference values. Normally, in order to maintain an equality in the standardized normal values, at the moment of sampling the patient is asked to fast for at least six hours, since some of the parameters to be performed are affected by the intake (glucose , Cholesterol, etc.)
