Urine Analysis

Urinalysis is a diagnostic test that is used very frequently in medicine and consists of collecting a small amount of urine and then analyzing it in the laboratory.

The diseases that most require urinalysis are those that affect the kidney (glomerulonephritis, urinary calculi, etc.). But it is also called for in systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus or autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus …). It is also useful in the detection of urinary infections, mild or severe (complicated cystitis or pyelonephritis).
