The determination of drugs of abuse in hair is nowadays a habitual technique implanted in the laboratories of toxicology. It is an alternative biological sample of easy collection, difficult to adulterate, that does not need special conservation conditions and, in addition, it allows to demonstrate consumptions previous to the taking of sample in a long term of time. That is why its applications are every day numerous because it provides more information than the usual tests in urine.
